January 13, 2016 (New York, NY) – To celebrate the Year of the Rooster, BOVET 1822 has created two unique timepieces for the occasion. The magnificent paintings adorn the mother-of-pearl dial of the Monsieur BOVET in the two new unique pieces: one 18K red gold timepiece and one 18K white gold timepiece.
The reversible Amadeo® Fleurier convertible case system enables the wearer to enjoy the symmetry and mechanical wonder of its 7-day hand-wound movement on its reverse side. The striking timepiece is equipped with a power-reserve indicator and reversed hand-fitting. The Year of the Rooster timepieces are the latest edition of Chinese zodiac inspired timepieces released by BOVET, which has become a much-anticipated yearly release by collectors around the world.
About Bovet:
Since its foundation in 1822, BOVET has artfully combined the most sophisticated mechanisms with the finest craftsmanship, employing artisanal techniques such as gem-setting, engraving, and miniature painting. Under the visionary guidance of Owner Pascal Raffy, BOVET acquired renowned Manufacture DIMIER 1738 in 2006 and immediately began producing the Maison’s movements, hair springs, and dials in-house. His passion for Haute Horlogerie also led to the introduction of the remarkable Amadeo® convertible case system, which draws inspiration from the exquisite 19th century pocket watches produced by BOVET for the Chinese Emperor and collectors worldwide.
Today, BOVET demonstrates its excellence through varied collections that encompass models as emblematic and remarkable as the Braveheart® OttantaSei and Shooting Star tourbillons, to name just a few of its icons. For additional information please visit: www.bovet.com.
